DentaSure for Your Pet’s Oral Health
No getting around it, I really love my dogs. That’s Zevon in the big picture at the top of this page. He’s 1/2 Papillon, 1/2 Maltese and he’ll be 7 in November.
When it comes to your dogs, I’ll bet you’re not any different than I am.
You know you have the best dog in the world. He is a wonderful companion, and you do everything in your power to ensure that he will live a long, healthy, happy life.
You feed him the best dog food. No animal byproducts for your furry companion! You may even cook his food yourself because you want him to have only the best, most nutritious ingredients in his food. You make sure he gets plenty of exercise. He has a great selection of toys to keep him amused. You bathe and groom him yourself. He has a wonderful, comfortable bed, which he rarely uses because he sleeps on your bed – with your blessing. He gets regular vet checkups just to make sure he’s in tip-top shape.
During one of his earlier checkups, the vet said that there was some tartar buildup on his teeth, so you immediately began preventative measures. You got him rawhide chews, which help slow the accumulation of plaque. You tried brushing his teeth, but that turned into a wrestling match with you getting lots of drool on your hands and him getting upset with your invasion of his mouth. At his latest checkup the vet said the plaque buildup is getting worse.
Your vet recommended professional cleaning, but that involves putting your dog under anesthetic, which is a traumatic experience for your dog – and you. It doesn’t happen very often, but you know that dogs have died under anesthetic while getting a “simple” teeth cleaning and the thought of that happening to your friend is unbearable. You want him to have clean teeth because you know it will help prevent other health problems, but you don’t know what to.
DentaSure is the answer to your problem.
DentaSure is an all-natural oral care spray for dogs and cats. It is formulated to remove plaque buildup safely and gently, without brushing or scraping. All ingredients are certified organic, so there is no question about their safety and purity.
Until late last year, I was using another brand of plaque remover spray for my dogs. It was working, albeit not as fast as its proponents claimed it worked for their dogs.
I’m always looking at alternatives to “traditional” medical protocols, both for the human as well as canine members of my family, and in my research I was disturbed to read that grain alcohol can be harmful to your dog. Some said a small amount, such as is used in carriers in sprays, is OK. Others said no dose is safe. The second listed ingredient in the plaque remover spray I had been using is grain alcohol.
I had been using the spray for about a month, and my dogs had shown no ill effects but I don’t “roll the dice” with my dogs’ health! I immediately stopped using the spray and began to look for a suitable replacement that didn’t contain grain alcohol. Another of the more popular brands I researched also contains grain alcohol and on their home page they have a testimonial from a holistic vet who said she has used this product for years with no ill effects on her patients. Maybe so, but if grain alcohol is so controversial that a company feels compelled to publish a disclaimer, why use it at all?
My research finally lead me to DentaSure and the “Natural Wonder Pets” website.
What’s in DentaSure?
GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT: An antioxidant that can neutralize free radicals that damage cells and cause a number of illnesses including oral infections, tooth plaque, and gum disorders.
GRAPE SEED EXTRACT: The flavinoids in the seed reduce inflammation and support the immune system. Since only the seed is used, it contains nothing toxic to pets, as in raisins and the skins of grapes. It has been used on dogs and cats without any reported problems.
PROPOLIS EXTRACT: A resinous mixture collected by honey bees, propolis has demonstrated antibacterial properties, destroying harmful bacteria while leaving bacteria the body needs untouched. It helps prevent tooth decay and other oral diseases.
STEVIA: A South American herb used as a sweetener. It is calorie free. Not only does it give DentaSure a pleasant taste, it also inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria in the mouth.
All of the ingredients in DentaSure are organic. Nothing artificial. Nothing harmful. And NO alcohol.
How Do You Use DentaSure?
Simply spray twice a day on the largest tartar buildups. You will notice your dog licking his lips. This helps mix DentaSure with his saliva and coats all the teeth and gums evenly. It is best to spray at least 30 minutes before your dog eats or wait at least 30 minutes after he has eaten. And if you can spray it at night, just before bedtime, it will allow DentaSure to work all night. Do this for 2 to 4 weeks.
After 2 weeks, I started wiping my dogs’ teeth before the application to remove any loosened plaque. Wiping your dog’s teeth is important, especially if he has a heavy tartar buildup. The plaque is laden with bacteria, and you want to minimize the amount your dog swallows to prevent the introduction of bad bacteria into his system.
After one month, you can reduce applications to once a day. This will prevent plaque from re-appearing. If you stop using DentaSure, plaque will begin to build up again, so you should continue to use it on a regular maintenance schedule to prevent new buildup from starting.
My Experience with DentaSure
When I was using the “other” spray, my dogs didn’t fight it when I spray their mouths, but there wasn’t any enthusiasm like it was something special, just another crazy thing “Dad” was doing. They just put up with it.
All that changed when I switched to DentaSure. I was surprised to find that they actually anticipated their sprays. I don’t know about your dogs, but mine have these tiny virtual wristwatches that they use to time everything, and they know when they are supposed to get their DentaSure spray. If I’m even a few minutes late, they bug me until I get the bottle and give them their applications. They love it! Zevon even curls his lip a bit to “help me.”
Does It Work?
The answer is a resounding “Yes.”
I’m on the third bottle and both dogs’ teeth are much cleaner than before I started. I haven’t found the improvement with my dogs to be as quick as some people report, but the improvement has been dramatic nevertheless. Sita’s tartar buildup was pretty heavy and her gums were beginning to look inflamed in places, but before she passed, the buildup was fading and her gums had an overall healthy pink color. Zevon is 3 years younger than Sita, so his buildup wasn’t as heavy. As a result his improvement has been more noticeable than with Sita. Overall, I am very happy with DentaSure and plan to continue using it for as long as we have dogs. As many people say, I wish I had discovered it sooner.
Don’t just take my word for it. Here are what other DentaSure users have to say:
“I am the kind of person who always speaks up when I think I’m not getting my money’s worth for anything. I am also not hesitant to give praise where praise is due.
With that said I bought some of your DentaSure teeth spray for my cat. I received it at the beginning of this week. After 3 DAYS of using this product her teeth have already gone from a scary looking brown and very unhealthy to a light shade of yellow.
I am absolutely blown away by how fast this product has helped her teeth improve and the fact that it’s all natural is huge to me (the vet has been pushing me to pay $720 for a cleaning including anesthesia!!).
My only regret is not finding you guys sooner!! Keep up the great work!!!!” ~ Fred Brennan, Waymouth, MA
“The DentaSure from my order of a week ago is already working on my 2 maltese’s teeth and they both like it, making the job of cleaning their teeth much easier for me and is much more effective than trying to brush.
Wish I heard about it (on tv) long ago! I plan to encourage my friends with dogs or cats to try it.
Thank you for your immediate response to my inquiry. You are very efficient!

Is It Expensive?
No. Two 4 ounce bottles are only $39.95. Compare that with the cost of a professional cleaning, which can run several hundred dollars (a quote I got 3 months ago was $900 – for ONE dog!).
Several hundred dollars, plus the trauma to your dog and your anxiety, knowing your dog will probably be okay under anesthetic, but also knowing there is a chance he could die. Weigh that against a safe, quick daily spray in his mouth for less than forty bucks. Seems like a real no-brainer, with DentaSure winning hands down. With a 30 day money back guarantee, you can’t lose.
